Pistol Range Rules & Safety Information

The following actions will cause you to be removed from the range IMMEDIATELY:

Shooting the walls or ceilings. Pointing your gun at anyone – even unintentionally.

$10.00 Damage fee for shooting walls, stalls or range equipment.  (per round)

$5.00 Damage fee for Ceiling and Baffle damage (per round)  

Steel Cased, Steel Core Ammunition is not permitted in our Range

Outside Pistol Range Ammunition has to be  Lead Free Frangible ammunition only

Carrying a firearm behind the safety line with the action closed. Loading a firearm behind the safety line.

One (1) safety violation may be grounds for removal from premises. Removal from premises is not grounds for a refund on your hourly or annual membership. A fee will be assessed for any damaged equipment.

  • Always treat every gun as if it were loaded at all times. Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
  • Firearms may only be holstered/un holstered, cased/uncased at the firing line, with the muzzle pointed downrange.
  • Firearms may only be carried behind the firing line to transport in and out of the range. If this is being done, the action must be open, the magazine removed, and the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
  • Keep your finger off of the trigger and out of the trigger guard until ready to fire.
  • Ear and eye protection must be worn before entering the range and at all times while inside the range firing area.

This is a FAMILY oriented facility. Please follow the Safety Rules for everyone’s safety and enjoyment.

  1. Treat all Firearms as if they are loaded, even after you have ensured them to be unloaded.
  2. Keep your finger straight, off the trigger and outside of the trigger guard until your sights are on target and you are ready to fire.
  3. Never allow the muzzle of your firearm to point at anything you are not willing to shoot.
  4. Be aware of your target and its foreground and background.
  5. Load and Unload firearms in the firing booths only. Firearms must be holstered or at Slide Lock with the Magazine extracted or cylinders open when behind the Firing Line.
  6. Do not go forward of the firing line at any time. Ask for assistance from the staff if needed.
  7. Reckless behavior will not be tolerated at any time.
  8. No cross firing at any other lane’s targets.
  9. Eye and Ear Protection are required when in the range area.
  10. You must be 21 years of age to rent or purchase pistol ammunition. (NC State Law)
  11. Limited rifle calibers and all standard pistol ammunition is acceptable.
  12. No Black Powder firearms.
